2011 Mazda Miata MX-5

This is my brand new baby. I rarely buy a new car but with this one I couldn’t resist. A Miata is everything people say about them and more.

It feels like you are driving a Go Cart and for the price it handles as well or better than some cars 5 times its price.

This bad little convertible has already been to the race track and what it lacks in muscle on the straights it makes up for in the turns.

Max Speed on the straight, 105 MPH. Min Speed in the  turns 40 MPH.

I did have people giving me a hard time about driving an Automatic at the track and I had a hard time justifying driving 25K dollars where you could wipe out any minute, even though there were far more expensive cars on the track. I loved it so much that I just bought another Miata that is quite a bit older and much less dear to me. That’s going to be a track car.

What Amsoil Products is my little friend using?

Engine Oil: SAE 0W-20 Signature Series 100% Synthetic Motor Oil (Changed from Factory Fill at 600 Miles.)

Oil Filter: Amsoil Absolute Efficiency Oil Filter (EA15K51)

Transmission: Original Fill until 12k Miles

Rear Differential: SEVERE GEAR 75W-90 Synthetic EP Lubricant (SVGQT) (Changed from Factory Fill at 600 Miles.)

Air Filter: Original Mazda will change to WIX 42683 at 6 Months

Coming soon: Amsoil Coolant Boost, Amsoil Performance Improver and Amsoil Transmission Fluid.

This ride is more fun than a Boeing 737.
